Chief Executive Officer

Michael Stone

Michael serves as the Chief Executive Officer of PROVE where he is responsible for the overall direction, strategy, and financial management of PROVE. In addition, Michael is a member of PROVE’s Board of Directors where he plays an active role in shaping the strategic direction of the business.

Prior to his roles at PROVE, Michael was previously the CFO of Currency Capital, a fintech company specializing in small-ticket commercial equipment leasing. Michael initially advised Currency as its investment banker and was later recruited to join the executive management team as the CFO. Michael led Currency through an aggressive growth phase to $200M+ in annual originations and an eventual exit to Lovell Minnick Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm where he and Ben met.

Prior to Currency Capital, Michael spent his career as an investment banker and private equity investor at several prominent West Coast firms, successfully completing mergers & acquisitions and capital raise transactions.

Michael received his BS in Finance, Cum Laude, from the University of Southern California.

During his free time, Michael enjoys training for triathlons, traveling to remote surf destinations, riding his mountain bike and skiing in his home state of Colorado.

Benjamin Kaplan

Ben serves as the Chairman of PROVE where he is responsible for leading the Board, and ensuring adherence to good corporate governance practices. Ben works closely with the CEO and management regarding Prove’s strategy and corresponding execution.

Ben serves as the Chairman of Prove where he is responsible for leading the Board, and ensuring adherence to good corporate governance practices. Ben works closely with the CEO and management regarding Prove’s strategy and corresponding execution. Ben also plays a key role in Prove’s corporate development as well as the establishment of institutional practices that impact the day-to-day functions of the organization.

Prior to PROVE, Ben was with Lovell Minnick Partners (Los Angeles), a private equity firm focused on financial services business with over $3 billion in AUM. During his tenure with Lovell Minnick, Ben was involved in the acquisition and development of a variety of businesses, including Global Financial Credit, Currency Capital (where he and Michael Stone met), LSQ Funding, and others.

Ben received his MBA and JD degrees from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and Pritzker School of Law. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Law School’s Alumni Club of Los Angeles as well as a national member for Northwestern’s Alumni Leadership Council. Prior to Northwestern, Ben was an Associate at Century Equity Partners, Boston-based private equity firm focused on the financial and healthcare sectors; and prior to that he was a Senior Analyst at Raymond James.

Ben, a native Bostonian, also received his BS in Economics and Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Boston College.

During his free time, Ben enjoys reading, snowboarding, hiking, weightlifting, and traveling.

Chief Financial Officer

Steven Pelosi

Steven serves as the Chief Financial Officer of PROVE where he is primarily responsible for treasury, financial operations, and internal and external financial reporting.

Prior to his role at PROVE, Steven was the Controller at PeerStreet, a VC backed fintech company specializing as a mortgage marketplace for private lenders and accredited investors.

Prior to PeerStreet, Steven spent his career as a CPA in both public and private practice within the banking and capital markets industry, most notably at Morgan Stanley and PwC.

Steven received his BS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Delaware.

Vice President of Operations - Single Event

Sarah Hoff

As Vice President of Operations for PROVE Partners’ Single Event division, Sarah leads the department responsible for managing individual case referrals submitted for funding. She oversees the full lifecycle from intake through funding, ensuring exceptional customer experience, operational compliance, and process integrity.

Sarah drives strategy and process excellence across case management, care coordination, provider contracting, and long-term partnership development. Her leadership focuses on operational innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and growth strategy that aligns with PROVE’s mission to deliver value-driven outcomes for clients and providers.

Before joining PROVE Partners, Sarah built her career within the medical funding industry from the ground up—beginning in case management and operations, expanding into sales, and ultimately advancing into senior leadership roles. With over a decade of industry experience and a background in health insurance, Sarah brings a unique combination of operational insight, strategic acumen, and people-focused leadership. She is known for optimizing complex workflows, leading high-performing cross-functional teams, and driving results in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Vice President of Operations - Bulk Purchase

Caden McLaughlin

Caden McLaughlin is a Vice President of Operations - Bulk Purchase at PROVE Partners, where he is responsible for leading the Bulk Purchase department. In this role, Caden oversees the identification, structuring, valuation, execution, and post-close management of asset-based financing and forward flow purchase transactions for PROVE Partners' clients.

Prior to joining PROVE Partners, Caden was an Associate at Credigy Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Bank of Canada specializing in asset-based finance. Caden's expertise was instrumental in the execution of over $2 billion in transactions during his tenure, including numerous $100+ million senior secured credit facilities and large joint venture investment vehicles with prominent financial institutions.

Caden holds an A.B. in Economics, cum laude, from Princeton University, where he was a member of Princeton's Division I Men’s Golf Team.

Jennifer Rust

Jennifer Rust serves as General Counsel of Prove Partners, LLC, where she leads all legal, regulatory, and risk management functions for one of the nation’s leading medical funding companies.

Jennifer Rust serves as General Counsel of Prove Partners, LLC, where she leads all legal, regulatory, and risk management functions for one of the nation’s leading medical funding companies. Drawing on over a decade of experience in personal injury litigation, underwriting, and compliance, Jennifer brings a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to managing legal risk across every phase of the funding lifecycle. Prior to becoming General Counsel, Jennifer served as Prove’s Director of Underwriting and Risk, where she developed and implemented scalable underwriting frameworks for both bulk and single-event medical receivables. Her work has been central to Prove’s ability to evaluate complex cases, enforce lien rights, and operate successfully in a multi-jurisdictional legal environment. Before joining Prove, Jennifer spent nearly a decade litigating high-stakes personal injury matters at The Voorhies Law Firm, where she managed a high-volume caseload and successfully resolved claims through trial, negotiation, and mediation. She is well-versed in HIPAA compliance, UCC filings, lien enforceability, and state-by-state personal injury law, and serves as a trusted advisor to Prove’s leadership, provider network, and external counsel. Jennifer holds a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she was a published member of the Loyola Law Review, and a B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana. Outside of work, Jennifer is a devoted wife and mother to two beautiful children. She is deeply committed to improving educational options for all families and is actively involved in both the school choice and homeschooling movements.
